I bought Hector from Mike in April 2009 and he has settled in very well. But even so it was reassuring to me as a 'donkey novice' to know that we had a 2 month trial period to get to know each other before I was committed to the purchase.
During that period, and beyond, Mike was always available at the end of the phone with helpful advice and encouragement.
Hector is now a much-loved member of the family and we can't imagine life without him. We are hoping to buy a second donkey from Mike in the near future to keep him company.

DONKEY RIDES AT CHELTENHAM'S PAWS IN THE PARK EVENT 2009

Mike's Donkeys attended Cheltenham Borough Council's (CBC) annual dog show, Paws in the Park. CBC Community Rangers organize this great family event and by having donkey rides it would appeal to both young children and bring childhood memories back to their parents and grandparents.
We had six donkeys and there was a steady queue all day, the children's faces said it all; that Mike's donkeys were a great success. We will be booking them again for next years events.
It was really good to see that the donkey's welfare was a high priority. At the end of the day the donkeys were allowed to have some free time to roll and graze before their journey home.

CHARITY FAMILY FUN DAY, CHEVELEY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE 2009

Mike's Donkeys attended our Charity Fun Day on June 21, 2009. All profits were donated direct to CLIC Sargent (Caring for Children with Cancer).
We all had a great day, and now I've made my climb of Mount Kilimanjaro we are proud to say we have reached the target of £3500 for Clic Sargent.
It's been a fantastic year and thank you for coming to our event.

I bought Harry from you, Mike, just over a year ago. Here are two photos of him and myself taken a couple of weeks ago.
As you can see he is now being driven and has taken to it brilliantly. He is a great little donkey with lots of character and very quick to learn.

DAINTY

We bought Dainty from Mike Thomas. He found the perfect donkey for me as I needed a small jenny to complete my 'herd' to eight.
We operate donkeys rides on Weymouth beach. Dainty fitted in straight away and is perfectly behaved. Very sweet and gentle, just as Mike described her. She was delivered to me by Mike and travelled very happily.
I can recommend Mike's Donkeys 100% and all are welcomed to come and see Dainty and the rest of the gang on Weymouth beach.
